Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our inpatient team within Birmingham Community Health Care NHS Foundation Trust, the largest community trust in the country.

Ward 5 is a 26 Bedded ward based at Moseley Hall Hospital providing sub-acute rehabilitation.

As aBand6Nurse on the ward, you will be responsible for leading a safe shift offering the Registered Nurses, Nursing Associates and Healthcare Assistants advice and support to care for their patients, you will be doing this alongside the other disciplines within our integrated MDT. You will also be required to manage a team and ensure their PDRs, Mandatory training and Sickness Management is kept up to date. You will also be responsible for undertaking clinical audits, improving results and compliance. As part of the role you will also participate in holding the hospital bleep during either the day or the night shift so flexibility towards shift patterns is essential.

Main duties of the job

Do you have the skills required to join our team? We are looking for a highly driven Nurse who is enthusiastic and motivated to work with us! Experience in working with stroke, neurological patients or rehabilitation is desired, however this is not essential.
