Ward 9 is an inpatient 28 Bedded ward providing Specialist Neuro Rehabilitation following an acquired Brain injury.

As a Band 6 Nurse on the ward you will be responsible for leading a safe shift offering the Registered Nurses, Nursing Associates and Healthcare Assistants advice and support to care for their patients, you will be doing this alongside the other disciplines within our integrated MDT. You will also be required to manage a team and ensure their PDRs, Mandatory training and Sickness Management is kept up to date. You will also be responsible for undertaking clinical audits, improving results and compliance.

If you have excellent communication skills, the ability to teach, motivate and influence your team, and you wish to develop your Managerial and Leadership skills as a Band 6 Sister/ Charge Nurse, we would like to hear from you.

As a Band 6 Nurse on the unit you will be responsible for leading a safe shift offering the Registered Nurses, Nursing Associates, Students and Healthcare Assistants advice and support to care for their patients alongside the other disciplines within our integrated MDT. You will also be required to manage a team and ensure their PDRs, mandatory training and sickness management is kept up to date.

You will also be responsible for ensuring continuous improvement, learning from incidents/complaints and driving up standards by improving results and compliance with clinical audits
