Are you a strong, capable leader who can provide senior leadership to a Finance and Business Intelligence (FBI) directorate? This is one of three new Strategic Business Manager posts that will have shared objectives and accountability for delivering the directorate's core business across our operational, tactical and strategic functions as part of an integrated senior leadership team, and for delivering the FBI 5-year Strategy.
This is a highly complex role requiring the post holder to keep abreast of national and local health and social policy developments, ensuring these are reflected in the delivery of strategic and tactical business partnering.

Main duties of the job
The Strategic Business Manager - Business Partnering will lead for the trust on tactical and strategic business partnering across the three care divisions, medical directorate and corporate services to ensure the sustainability and value for money of services and that we maintain line of sight to patients; we see our corporate functions as critical to maintaining and improving standards of care. The post holder is responsible for leading and directing the Business Partnering function, supporting colleagues across the organisation and the wider health and care system to deliver LCHS' and system priorities.
This role will have shared responsibility with colleagues in operations and corporate for ensuring high quality, sustainable service delivery including financial sustainability, effective performance, positive organisational reputation, and ensuring continuous improvements in the delivery of services across LCHS. They will do this through maintaining a focus on systems, processes, culture, performance and behaviours. The Business Partnering function will have a medium to long term focus, deploying its flexible and nimble resource to service business need and priorities. By being unencumbered by operational or compliance duties, the function can take a responsive approach to rapid improvement interventions and future-focused developments.
