Main duties of the job

If you are passionate and motivated about operational delivery and have the skills to support the improvement of quality, patient and staff experience, and enthusiasm to provide services first class patient care services, then this role is for you.

Operational Business Services is a dynamic team committed to delivering the highest standard of non-clinical services for clinicians and patients, which you will support by providing day to day effective and efficient senior leadership.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within LCHS, managing, at a senior level, the Operations Service Centre who work 24/7 across 365 days per week and the Patient Administration Services who work geographically across Lincolnshire supporting our patients and clinical teams.We are looking for someone with solid track record of delivery who are looking for a new challenge.

Reporting to Head of Operational Business Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the staff within the Ops Centre and Patient Admin Services deliver a proactive and outstanding customer service supporting our clinicians and patients across the organisation.This role is also responsible for identifying and setting performance levels for the team, leading process reviews and engaging with all key stakeholders across all levels and both internally and externally.

This post is a key leadership role within not only Operational Business Services but also within the Operational Directorate, Trust and the Lincolnshire Health System. This individual needs to be a visionary leader, inspiring those within the team and those who encounter the team and striving to further LCHS as an innovative and high-quality patient care provider.

You must hold a relevant degree or the ability to demonstrate relevant work experience, in addition to evidence of relevant and continuing professional development.

Senior NHS management experience and evidence of working in a busy customer service environment is essential, alongside the ability to build and develop high performing teams, and work at high levels with managerial colleagues in other organisations and services.

This is a real opportunity for a strong people and process manager to make a difference to the heart of the organisation and support the Clinical divisions to deliver outstanding patient care.

We are looking to attract a flexible, organised and improvement focussed individual to provide senior management and strategic support.
