Job summary

The role is key to fulfilling the Finance and Business Intelligence directorate responsibility of creating an environment of efficient, effective, robust data on all aspects of performance to ensure that LCHS meets it national, regional and local reporting obligations and can continuously improve services for patients and populations through insight.

This post will have clear line of site to the patient in creating this essential foundation and environment for insight to inform decision making. This is a key foundation for delivering the 5-year FBI Strategy including creating insight to drive great care close to home.

The role will be part of a team with responsibility for providing technical solutions through development and maintenance of a trust wide Data Warehouse, and work towards delivering a consistent, technical solution for the integration of data from a myriad of clinical information systems. They will contribute to the directorate achieving its strategic objective of automation.

Main duties of the job

Lincolnshire Community Health Service requires all staff to safeguard children, young people and adults. Responsible for providing specialist support, training and guidance on areas of data warehouse expertise such as database design concepts and reporting and analysis methods.

Work towards being responsible for working with the team to continually automate by identifying areas of need/opportunity and helping to develop and implement solutions, and streamline procedures for extracting and processing regular data.

Work towards training others on information gathering and analysis, and to develop datasets to support national reporting requirements, standards and timeframes.

Work towards being the analytical lead and make recommendations about the performance of specific complex queries, including proposing, developing and introducing new systems for reporting and training.

Work towards leading in the analysis and interpretation of activity and information produced and manipulate raw data in order to present information in a format suitable to a variety of internal and external audiences to demonstrate the Trusts activity and performance
