Job summary
We are looking for someone who is passionate about involving volunteers in our NHS community services. You will take the lead in developing a growing service that has lots of potential for creativity and innovation in volunteering. Working with leaders, clinicians and external partners, this is a great role for a dynamic person who enjoys motivating and enthusing others. You'll also work closely with ourdedicated team of volunteers who are loyal, and keen to support patients and staff by adding value to their experience of our health services.
We are looking for someone with substantial experience in all aspects of managing the volunteer journey including recruitment, training and support. You will be skilled at establishing relationships with those who will support volunteers in their services and provide expert guidance and advice. You will lead strategic direction for volunteering in LCHS and be experienced in demonstrating impact.
Main duties of the job
To oversee and be responsible and accountable for the provision and management of volunteering service throughout Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS)To promote and support effective and appropriate use of volunteers to improve patient and public engagement, experience and involvement in LCHS.To grow and develop the LCHS Volunteering Services Programme to increase take up of volunteering.To ensure safe, standard practice in volunteer management across LCHS.To ensure that the safety of volunteers, patients, carers, visitors and staff is not compromised by the use of volunteers.

To ensure hours worked within placements are appropriate and that volunteers operate within agreed boundaries.15.
