We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Associate Public Health Practitioner, (Community Nursery Nurse) in the Hertfordshire Family Centre Service based in the Watford and 3 Rivers team. Full and Part time hours considered.
Candidates MUST have a NVQ level 3 in Early years or Childcare or equivalent (BTEC, NNEB, CACHE Diploma)
This is an exciting time to be joining our team as we move forward with our integrated approach to delivering the Healthy Child Programme (HCP) to all our families.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will:
- Will be part of a skill mixed team and as a Community Nursery Nurse you will work to deliver the universal and targeted Healthy Child and Public Health Nursing Programme as part of the Hertfordshire Family Centre Service. Working across the 0-5 age, age 6 Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND) age range under the direction of the Public Health Nurse (PHN) to improve the Health and wellbeing of the local population.
- Have a full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
