Main duties of the job
The post holder will
co-lead on productivity, efficiency and clinical outcomes across the immunisation service and will implement improvement plans where necessary.
provide professional advice and guidance to immunisation teams on all clinical aspects of the community and school aged immunisation programme.
ensure the consistency and quality of the Immunisation Service delivery according to the requirements of the national immunisation specifications and the CSAIS and Covid contracts.
assist in ensuring that all relevant organisational and national guidance and policy documents relating to quality of service are translated into practice.
provide astute clinical leadership and clear and supportive direction to the immunisation teams in the planning, coordination and evaluation of the service for clinical quality and outstanding patient experience.
ensure immunisation programmes achieve outstanding uptake.

- Hold specialist knowledge, training, and experience in delivering immunisations; a high level of knowledge, training, and experience in delivering vaccinations.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have previous experience of clinical leadership and people management
- Have a working knowledge of SystmOne and other immunisation recording systems including IMMform
- Have excellent presentation skills
Desirable
- Hold a master's level qualification
- Be a non-medical prescriber
