We are seeking a compassionate, experienced leader to join Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust as Assistant Director for Children and Young People's Specialist Services. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across a wide range of services, including Medical and Nursing, Therapies, and Mental Health, ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care.

Main duties of the job

Lead operational delivery of CYP specialist services

Drive performance, quality, and patient safety standards

Manage service budgets and ensure efficient use of resources

Support service transformation and improvement initiatives

Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements

Provide strategic leadership across multi-disciplinary teams

Represent the Trust in partnerships and system-wide forums

Deputise for the Deputy Director as needed

Respond to incidents, complaints, and service user feedback
