Job summary
- As a Senior Dental Nurse for HCT the post holder will be required to hold the dental nurse qualification for a min of 5 years plus an additional post qualification in either Radiography,Oral Health or IV.
- You will be expected to have some knowledge of line managment/leadership skills and show evidence of this during the interview .
- You will be required to work closely with the team leaders to ensure the smooth running of the dental clinic.
- You will be required to carry out additional management duties to support the service and team.
Assist in all routine dental nursing roles to support the clinics
Main duties of the job
Train, guide and supervise dental nurses where appropriate
Undertake the day to day management task in the team including
Planning and executing meetings
Working to deadlines without excuses
Oversee Induction
Implement Learning and development and training.
Appraisals
Disciplinary and performance issues
Facilitate the development of positive working relationships with staff.
Work collaboratively with Dental Officers and the dental team to ensure the delivery ofquality patient care.
