Job responsibilities

Analyst Element:

• The role of the Clinical Systems Analyst is to provide and apply specialist knowledge in the configuration of clinical systems, to include SystmOne and R4+. Be responsible for the ongoing management and development of R4+ and SystmOne for The Dental Care service. You will liaise with colleagues to ensure that all aspects of change are supported.
• As a Clinical Systems Analyst you will be expected to develop a high level of SystmOne and R4+ expertise
• Using your highly developed analytical skills to identify any conflicting impacts and gaps in processes and system functionality.
• The role will include an element of data gathering and reporting. This may include sensitive and confidential information.

Trainer Element:

• The role of the Clinical Systems and Carestream R4+ trainer will be to provide training and support to our expanding Dental team. This will cross both SystmOne and R4+ platforms.
• Training will be delivered to both Clinical and Administrative staff, in person and via MS Teams.
• To develop R4+ expertise and act as a subject expert for the rest of the team. Where necessary prepare and deliver training on R4+ functionality to the Clinical Systems Team.

• Minimum of 12 months experience of using SystmOne acquired through either short courses or using the platform in role
• This role includes mobile working across the Trust sites and attending in person meetings as required
• Evidence of continuing personal development
• Understanding Data Quality and its implications
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written, including presentation skills
• The ability to travel across the Trust sites to regularly attend meetings

Desirable

• TPP Accreditation in SystmOne modules
• Authoring user guides and creating e-learning packages would be advantageous
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
• Experience in using and programming Carestream R4+
• Experience of delivering training sessions in person and face-to-face
