This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Danesbury Neurological Administration Team, who have a vacancy for an Administration Assistant.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve supporting the ward leads and giving assistance and support to patients, carers and staff where appropriate. You will need to have excellent communication and IT skills and work in an organised manner so as to ensure all the administrative tasks are completed.
The role with include scanning documents, minute taking, booking appointments for patients, attending MDT meetings, room bookings for team leads and any other duties that the team leads will require.

The Administration Assistant will communicate with staff and the general public with tact and sensitivity. Acting as first point of contact on the telephone for patient and professionals in relation to referrals, booking appointments and helping with general queries.
- To carry out the entry of information relating to referrals onto SystmOne and other related administrative tasks as part of a Team.
- Scanning documentation
- Help with stock ordering
- Assist lead therapists and ward manager with meeting minutes and admin tasks
- Work unsupervised on assigned administrative tasks.
- Confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
