Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Dietitian in CAMHS Community Eating Disorders service for Hereford and Worcestershire, the position is 0.8 WTE, 30 hrs, flexible working within Monday-Friday 9-5pm.

We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and registered dietician who has either an interest or experience of working within eating disorders. You will be joining a well-established team made up of specialist eating disorder professionals. Treatment, for young people in the service includes: family therapy, CBT, FT-AN and FREED. We also deliver parent support group sessions.

You will be based in Worcestershire however the expectation will be to cover both counties delivering sessions virtually and face to face. It is essential that applicants can meet the travel requirement for the post.

Main duties of the job

You will be expected to deliver a dietetic service to an allocated caseload of eating disorder patients in the community, working as a core member of the multi-disciplinary team. The team includes family therapists, clinical psychologist, consultant psychiatrist, mental health practitioners and Health Care Assistants. The role will include individual and group work to support individuals with different eating disorder presentations including AN and BN and training to other health care professionals and parents.
