Job summary
This is an
exciting opportunity to join our expanding friendly team, providing High
Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), working with adults aged 16+ who
have a range of anxiety and depression related problems. This role will suit
qualified therapists who hold an accredited registration with the BABCP or
newly qualified CBT therapists working toward accreditation.
The post
holder will work within the service to provide high intensity CBT to patients
at Step 3 of the Talking Therapies stepped care model. We operate hybrid working to include remote
working from home/office-based hours to include face to face, telephone and
video conferencing patient contact. The
contracted hours are 37.5 over 5 days and 20 clinical hours are to be booked
per week, averaging 4 patients per day.
In return we provide flexible working,

a wide range of wellbeing and support programmes; including access to LGBTQ+, Black
and Ethnic Minority, Disability and Carers Forums.
Redditch is a relatively
new Town, near Birmingham and has good links to M42, M5 and a train station
within walking distance to the office. We have also moved to a newly
refurbished office within the town centre, offering plenty of space and comfort
for therapists and patients.
Main duties of the job
A
typical week will involve working autonomously and as part of a team. Working within a hybrid model you will take a
blended approach to home and office-based working. You will work collaboratively with patients in
your care to assess and provide psychological interventions and support
individuals to work towards recovery. You
will manage a caseload of individuals with mild to moderate depression and/or
anxiety and will keep abreast of the requirements to meet KPI targets. You will maintain clear and accurate clinical
records and will be supported to reflect in and on practice via regular
supervision. You will undertake CPD to
further your skills and knowledge base and there will be opportunity to develop
your skills by facilitating groups or providing supervision to others. You may have an interest in a Champion role as
well as involvement in service promotion and development.
