Psychotherapist looking for career development within the NHS?
Would you like to join our team of highly skilled
Psychological Therapists providing Therapeutic Interventions to patients with
mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety?
We have x2 training
opportunities based in Worcester and Hereford for Band 6 High Intensity
Training in Interpersonal Therapy (IPT).
Preference of location will be discussed at interview. Working 37.5hours per week Monday to Friday
(hours can be discussed to support working flexibly).
The training is provided by NHS England
and clinical practice will take place within the Talking Therapies
Service.
Upon successful completion of the course, you
will obtain a NICE approved Talking Therapies qualification and move into a permanent
Band 7 post as a qualified IPT High Intensity Therapist.

Main duties of the job
A typical week will involve working autonomously and as part of a
team. Working within a hybrid model you
will take a blended approach to home and office-based working, as well as
attending training days which may be in person or online.
Under supervision you will work collaboratively with patients in your
care to assess and provide psychological interventions, supporting individuals
to work towards recovery.
You will maintain clear and accurate clinical records and will be
supported to embed learning and reflect on your practice via regular clinical
supervision.
You will record clinical sessions for academic purposes.
You will work with your team and with relevant allied professionals
within the care pathway.
You will be involved
in various aspects of clinical practice, for example, undertaking patient
assessments, facilitating groups and offering therapy in the modality you are
training in.
