yes, then come join us. We are seeking a physiotherapist to work and lead in the
North Worcestershire area. The Reablement team assists patients requiring
additional support and rehabilitation on discharge from hospital, and those in
the community who need increased care or therapy input. Assessments are
holistic, person centred, and focused on maximising independence. Patients are
at the heart of everything we do.
This is a full-time
post, with part time/job share considered (minimum of 30 hours over 4 days).
Main duties of the job
As a reablement
team member, you will:
- Work closely
with therapists and social care teams, having the unique opportunity to
experience both of these sectors whilst with us.
- Perform
holistic, goal focused, patient centred assessments, and develop thorough goal
focused treatment programmes.
- Manage a varied
caseload, spanning all physiotherapy specialities.
- Provide
clinical supervision and leadership to the physiotherapy team, supporting with
complex case work and clinical development.
- Work closely
with both health and social care colleagues, in a blended approach to patient
care.
Physiotherapists,
nurses, occupational therapists, therapy assistants and social care staff
undertake collaborative working on a daily basis to ensure that all patient
needs are met.
Regular clinical
supervision and professional support are provided. We positively encourage any
