We are recruiting experienced or newly qualified RGNs to work on Cottage Ward at Princess of Wales Community Hospital.

On completion of your successful application, you will be invited to our Recruitment Event taking place at the Princess of Wales Community Hospital, Stourbridge Road, Bromsgrove on Wednesday 22nd November 2023 between 16:00 and 19:00 where you will undertake an interview with our friendly team and potentially be made an offer on the spot.

Main duties of the job

Whatever your nursing background, it is your ability to inspire your team, adapt and integrate methods of care to support your patients that will help us all to ensure we can continually deliver our vision and values by working together for outstanding care.

As a Staff Nurse you will be responsible for providing care to people admitted to our ward for rehabilitation. We work closely as a multi-disciplinary team. Our focus is promoting the comfort and wellbeing of patients, enabling them to live as independently as possible. Malvern is a small but friendly team to work with. As a team we encourage ongoing learning and development through reflection and clinical supervision which we try and embed in our daily practice. Our nurses are required to facilitate the day to day running of the ward, administering medications, working alongside all members of the MDT as well as patients, their families and carers to provided 24/7 rehabilitation to enable the highest level of independence and quality of life. Our nurses are required to attend meetings as needed such as MDT and CHC or Discharge Planning.
