Job summary
We are seeking a highly skilled,
enthusiastic, and resilient Art Psychotherapist to join our team in order to
enhance the service on offer for people with high levels of complexity to
engage in psychological work that is available via our Complex Needs Service
(CNS). You will work with people with
personality difficulties, particularly those who have struggled to engage in
verbal focused interventions, as part of a Multi-disciplinary (MDT) team
approach.
Your role is one element in a
structured clinical management (SCM) treatment package and you will need to be
a team player with a strong work ethic. You will give and receive a high level
of individual and group supervision and training, attending weekly group
reflective practice, facilitated by an external psychotherapist. We

Main duties of the job
Working in a team comprising of psychologists, occupational therapist, social worker,
nurses, consultant medical psychotherapist, occupational therapy assistants,
peer support workers, you will be instrumental in the patients journey from
assessment to discharge. You will deliver trauma informed formulations and psychoeducation
alongside your specialist interventions including our extensive group programme.
Training is actively encouraged to support you in your role
including formal training and peer support/mentoring. We are particularly
interested in developing MBT as part of SCM treatment. MBT, DBT, ISTDP, Reflective Practice and
Compassion Focused Therapy are some of the trainings team members have engaged
in. Being a senior clinician within the team, you will also be invited to think
around the strategic planning for the development of the service. You will work
part time hours between Monday to Friday, during office hours excluding bank
holidays, working from community bases.
