We have a Cook/Chef vacancy at the Princess of Wales Community Hospital working 20 hours. Wk 1 Fri 14.15pm 19.30, Sat 7.00am 15.00pm, Sun 7.00am 15.00pm, Wk 2 Fri 14.15pm 19.30, Sat 11.30am 19.30pm, Sun 11.30am 19.30pm, Wk 3 Mon 9.15am 14.30pm, Thur 7.00am 15.00pm, Fri 7.00am 15.00pm

Main duties of the job
We pride ourselves on maintaining catering standards to a 5-star environmental health audit process & in line with the National Standards for Healthcare Food and Drink.

Catering services ensure patients receive nutritionally balanced diets to support their recovery, in accordance with national standards & the Trusts Food & Drink Strategy.
You will be part of a team who deliver a fully comprehensive quality catering service offering choice to patients, staff and visitors which meets legislative and mandatory requirements, in accordance with schedules and procedures. You must maintain a high standard for all food and beverage preparation including hot, cold and ambient items.
In return, you will receive full support, training and guidance to enable you to undertake all catering duties.
