Job summary
An exciting opportunity is available within the
Worcestershire Community Equipment Service and Worcestershire Wheelchair
Service. These services work closely and in collaboration with clinical teams
across the county to provide crucial equipment for promoting independent living
at home, supporting packages of care, preventing admission, and facilitating
discharge from hospital. Our site is a bustling hub of
activity comprising of a warehouse, office buildings and clinic rooms, with
clinicians, administration and logistical teams working to deliver these
critical services.
We are looking for an ambitious leader who is driven to

This role will be based at Crown Lane, Wychbold,
with the option of working from home for some part of the week. 30 hours working over 4 days per week.

Main duties of the job
- Daily operational leadership and
direct line manager responsibility for the team leads within the Community
Equipment Service and Wheelchair Service.
- Supporting and leading the teams
to develop efficient and effective systems and processes to enable delivery of
a timely, high-quality service.
- Collaborating and communicating
with our partners and key stakeholders across the Integrated Care System and
Integrated Care Board.
- Managing relationships, contracts,
and service level agreements with 3rd party organisations.
- Responsibility and decision making
for stock control and procurement, including budget authorisation.
- Supporting highly specialised
clinical team in the Wheelchair Service to deliver high-quality, responsive,
and timely interventions to patients, including complex clinical presentations
and long-term conditions.
- Managing projects and service
development.
- Deputising for the Clinical
Service Manager.
