The Evesham, Broadway, Bredon and Inkberrow (EBBI) Neighbourhood
Team is a friendly and hardworking team who are looking for an enthusiastic nurse
to join us at our base in Evesham.
The Neighbourhood team is looking to recruit a community nurse who
is happy to work across our whole patch on a part-time or full-time basis and
who is keen to join the team in supporting us to deliver high quality care.
We are looking for a passionate nurse who is excited by change and
keen to help shape a new way of delivering community nursing care. We work closely with our GPs and work hard
at developing relationships with primary care services, drawing on the skills
of our MDT colleagues to manage complex patients and ensure we are responsive,
and patient centred.
We
will provide you with resources to develop your career as well as a wide range

Main duties of the job
Role
requirements:
- Working flexibly across the local area (the
service operates 3 shifts within 7:30am 6:30pm, Mon-Sun)
- The ability to manage your own caseload and
work within an MDT
- The ability to problem solve and manage time
effectively
- Experience of working in a fast paced and
varied environment
Your typical day will include home visits for
adults of 18+ needing a range of nursing interventions. These include end of
life care, and pain and symptom management. Wound care: post-op wounds, leg
ulcers, pressure ulcers and complex dressing regimes. Other skills required
will be in IV therapy, injectable drugs, and holistic patient assessments.
Back at base, you will be
involved in team meetings and care planning. You may also support the teaching
of nurse students pre and post registration.
