Worcestershire Integrated Sexual Health have an
exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the team at our
Aconbury North site, Worcester. The post is for 24 hours a week. This is to
include occasional Saturday mornings and early evenings. There is an
expectation to be flexible and to be able to cover other clinics within
Worcestershire as required. This post is an excellent opportunity to develop
both clinical and administrative skills within sexual health services. We will
provide the resources for you to develop and progress and offer flexibility,
continual professional development as well as a wide range of wellbeing and

Please note the Trust will not routinely provide sponsorship to work for

Office salary threshold you must have the significant experience to be offered

Main duties of the job
On a day to day basis you
will provide a range of reception/clerical duties which include meeting,
greeting and registering patients, either face to face or by telephone, as a
first point of call for patients presenting to sexual health services. You will
also assist clinical teams in delivering sensitive care to both male and female
patients; by acting as a chaperone during examinations and procedures always
promoting their dignity and comfort. Your role includes the opening and closing
of clinics, cleaning, stocking and maintaining the clinic environment. There is
the opportunity to learn to take blood from patients, perform asymptomatic
screening and be involved in the processing and preparation of collecting
samples from patients

- NVQ level 2 in Health related subject or Business Administration or a good standard of general education to GCSE level and agreement to
- undertake both NVQs when a training place is available
- The post holder will be expected to meet the Care Certificate standards within 12 weeks of commencing employment with the Trust
- I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
Desirable
- RSA / OCR2 in Text/Word Processing or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of skill
