An exciting development opportunity has arisen within the Clinical Workforce, Training and Education Team.

We are offering a temporary sixmonth secondment for a fulltime Band 6 Resuscitation and Physical Health Officer. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering highquality training in resuscitation and clinical skills across the organisation.

This is a fixed term post to provide cover for absence for specific purpose that we anticipate will be required for 6 months. We reserve the right to end this contract sooner with appropriate notice.

You must have read and understood the terms of the Trusts secondment policy and gained permission from your Line Manager to undertake the secondment before applying.

We are seeking individuals who are committed, enthusiastic and proactive, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential, along with the confidence to work with minimal supervision while ensuring consistent, highquality, learnerfocused education.

This role will require travel across the county including Herefordshire.

Main duties of the job

The role involves delivering training to a range of clinical and non clinical staff across the organisation. You will be involved in preparing teaching materials, running simulations, and supporting learners during practical skills sessions. It will involve managing your own workload and contributing to the smooth running of the Resuscitation and Physical Health Team. The role will also include participation and offering advice to regular commitment meetings.

This role also includes maintaining training equipment, ensuring clinical competencies are met, contributing to clinical governance, and providing expert advice on resuscitation and physical health practices. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient safety, improve learning outcomes, and uphold excellence in clinical standards.

It will require countywide travelling to venues as well as ward areas to support staff with clinical audits and providing debriefs.
