We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity
for a skilled and motivated clinician to join our dynamic outpatient MSK
service as a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP). This developmental
post provides a clear, supported pathway into advanced practice and includes a
fully funded ACP Masters programme, which is a mandatory requirement of the
role.
You will commence at Band 7, with progression to
Band 8a on successful completion of the ACP MSc and demonstration of the
required competencies across the four pillars of advanced practice.
As part of our forwardthinking MSK team, you will
play a central role in delivering expert patientcentred care, improving access
to advanced pathways, and shaping innovative models of community
rehabilitation. You will work autonomously with complex MSK presentations,
provide advanced clinical input across our localities, and act as a role model
for highquality practice.
We are seeking a selfmotivated, reflective, and
resilient clinician with strong MSK experience, a passion for service
development, and the ambition to progress into an Advanced Clinical
Practitioner role. Commitment to completing the ACP Masters programme is
essential, as this forms a core condition of the post.

Main duties of the job
Manage
a clinical caseload of complex MSK patients independently.
Undertake
advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Support
waiting list reduction through timely and efficient patient management.
Participate
in triage, advanced assessment clinics, and community rehabilitation pathways.
Complete
and pass the ACP Masters programme within agreed timeframes.
Attend
supervision, tutorials, and competency reviews as part of the ACP pathway.
Lead or
contribute to projects working across the four pillars of advanced practice
Provide
daytoday supervision and teaching to clinicians across the MSK and wider
therapy service
Maintain
accurate clinical documentation and adhere to governance requirements.
Participate
in MDT meetings, service planning, and pathway development.
Uphold
professional standards and contribute to a positive team culture.
Alongside your clinical caseload, you will be
expected to work aligned to the four advanced pillars of practice to shape,
refine and improve our service, provide support and development for MSK
conditions across the system and contribute to national research objectives.

with clinics operating across multiple sites. The base location will be agreed
