An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, qualified ENP/ECP to join our Minor Injuries Unit at the Evesham Community Hospital, to provide maternity cover of 23 hours per week.
The ability to use your initiative, work proactively, demonstrate excellent clinical skills and communication skills, be a part of the team but at the same time prioritising your own workload and responding flexibility to changing demands are essential requirements of the role.
The role will provide you with variety and no two days are the same. You will have autonomy to balance and achieve the demands of the role so you will need to demonstrate your ability to be responsive and flexible to be able to meet the requirements of the role.
This is a fixed term post to provide cover for absence for specific purpose that we anticipate will be required until 6 September 2026. We reserve the right to end this contract sooner with appropriate notice.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
Be expected to be an autonomous practitioner, responsible for accessing, treating, discharging patients attending with minor injuries
Be a highly qualified clinician as an ENP/ECP be responsible for providing expert knowledge and skills to more junior members of the team with a willingness to professionally develop their role within the everchanging scope of emergency care.
Make assessment of patients physical, psychological, and social needs, implementing all agreed management plan with patients including appropriate investigations, prescribing and referral, within PGDs or professional scope of a non-medical prescriber.
