Job summary

Mortimer Ward is a 20 bed admission ward for adults predominantly aged 18 to 65 with acute mental illness. Our patients often have complex needs and the successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for a holistic approach to meeting those care needs. We work closely with allied health professionals within the Unit and our aim is to maximise the health and wellbeing of the patients in our care, supporting them and their families. The Trust and the ward has a number of initiatives focusing on clinical leadership, operational management and strategic planning which will offer opportunities for professional development. The Unit is currently undergoing extensive environmental redevelopment works which will enhance the patient experience, ward safety and therapeutic facilitation.

We are looking to appoint motivated and dynamic individuals to join our Multi-disciplinary team. Part of your role is to ensure patient care is of the highest standards supporting the Nursing and Medical team, acting as a role model at all times and using your initiative to maintain quality and safety.

This is a full time role.

Please note the Trust will not routinely provide sponsorship to work for this role. In addition to meet Home Office salary threshold you must have the significant experience to be offered top of the pay band AND work a minimum of 35.5 hours per week.

Main duties of the job
