Childrens Short Breaks team, where we pride ourselves in providing outstanding
care to children across Worcestershire. We will provide you with resources to
develop and progress a long-term career as well as flexibility, continual
professional development and a wide range of wellbeing and support. If you

Childrens
Short Breaks service provides vital respite care for children in Worcestershire
who have a Learning Disability and complex medical needs and/or behaviours that
challenge. It is co-located with the Adult Replacement Care Service at Osborne
Court in Malvern.
The post
holder will be expected to work predominantly Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
however there may be occasions when they are required to work clinical shifts.
We are
looking for an innovative, compassionate and empowering Nurse to act as the Registered
Manager for the service in line with Ofsted requirements. This post is
regulated by CQC and Ofsted.
This is a full time post.
Post will be subject to successful registration with Ofsted, questionnaire

Main duties of the job
Ensure children are well cared for whilst staying with us
Compiling rotas
Provide Line Management and Clinical Supervision to the
team
Clinical management oversight
Adhere to Ofsted and CQC regulations and be available for
the Ofsted Regulation 44 Visitor
Audits
Attend Short Breaks Panel
Engage with key stakeholders i.e. commissioners, social
workers, schools
Have good communication with families/carers
