This role focuses primarily on nutritional support across a diverse and rewarding caseload, including: Community Hospital and Adult Mental Health inpatient settings, Home Enteral Tube Feeding (HETF) and Post-Viral Fatigue Service.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care that makes a real difference in peoples lives.

Main duties of the job

You will play a key role in supporting the nutritional care of adults and older adults in a variety of settings and with a variety of conditions. You will autonomously manage a caseload, including carrying out nutritional assessments, devising nutritional care plans and monitoring your caseload. You will work closely with the MDT to optimise patient care and wellbeing.

The role includes responsibility for developing and implementing evidence-based policies and practices and delivering training and resources to members of the MDT. You will also be actively involved in helping support junior colleagues, including carrying out 1:1s and appraisal, and participate in student training, to further develop leadership and supervisory skills.

As the role is based at multiple locations across the county, the successful applicant must be able to meet the travel requirements of the role.
