Pharmacy Courierneeded at Princess of Wales Community Hospital. Permanent, full-time position exclusively providing courier services. Please note that porter duties are not part of this specific role.

Main duties of the job

Join our teams, we pride ourselves in providing outstanding care to patients across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. We will provide you with resources to develop and progress a long-term career to include flexibility, continual professional development as well as a wide range of wellbeing and support.

Working alongside clinical teams and infection control, Courier teams provide local and regional logistics to support the day to day running of hospital services across two counties. Duties will require you to work to schedules and procedures to ensure a smooth operation across multiple departments.

You will form part of a team providing comprehensive Courier services. Tasks will include transport and collection / delivery of mail, specimens, pharmacy etc., both on site and to other sites as required. When assigned to undertake courier duties a vehicle will be supplied and must be maintained to ensure it remains roadworthy and fit for use by others.

On some days, you may spend time lone working and as part of a team on others. The role is varied as no two days are the same.

In return, you will receive full support, training, and guidance to enable you to fulfil the role and undertake these duties.
