This role is a new secondment post for 18 months, to offer someone within the organisation the opportunity to expand and develop their knowledge/skills.
You must have read and understood the terms of the Trusts secondment policy and gained permission from your Line Manager to undertake the secondment before applying.
Were looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Chief Executives Office as a CEO Business Support Manager. This pivotal Band 7 role offers the opportunity to work closely with the CEO, supporting executive functions, managing key communications, and leading the Trusts Single Point of Contact (SPOC). Youll thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent judgement, and be passionate about delivering high-quality support that drives organisational success. This post is full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:0017:00, but at times there may be requirements to work flexibly. The postholder will be based at Kings Court 2, however there will be travel across the two counties and at times flexibility to work from home.
Main duties of the job
As CEO Business Support Manager, youll play a vital role in the smooth running of the Chief Executives Office. A typical day involves managing the CEOs mailbox, coordinating high-level meetings, preparing briefings, and ensuring timely responses to internal and external communications. Youll oversee the Trusts Single Point of Contact (SPOC), triaging sensitive enquiries and ensuring appropriate action. Youll work closely with senior leaders, support corporate governance, and lead on key projects. This is a varied and fast-paced role requiring excellent judgement, discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Youll also help support and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and inclusive leadership and have the opportunity to develop new ideas and ways of working to help support our strategic objectives.
