Job summary
We have recently recruited Registered Nurses to help develop a nurse-led ADHD service for children and young people across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, focusing on the assessment and management of children and young people with ADHD using a trauma-informed, developmental approach, supported by experienced ACPs and Medical Consultants.
A post has arisen within the ADHD service working as an Administrator to support the Nurses. The successful candidate will be working 15 hours per week and will be based at either one of our locality offices. The base to be agreed with successful applicants.
The service runs Monday Friday and flexible working is encouraged. The 15 hours can be worked in a way to suit the successful candidate in office hours.
Please note the Trust is unable to provide sponsorship to work for this role, to apply you must have current right to work in the UK status.
Main duties of the job
You be working as a band 3 ADHD Administrator for Worcestershire & Herefordshire ADHD Team. You will provide an efficient and smooth running administration service for clinicians working in the team.
You will maintain a team caseload spreadsheet (a high level of excel skill is required) and appointment system for clinics and make arrangements for patients/ relatives. Handle telephone enquiries regarding appointments, cancellations referring where necessary to the appropriate person. You will type and process clinic letters and make entries in the Electronic Patient Record.
The ability to use your initiative, work proactively, demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills, manage and prioritise your own workload and respond flexibly to changing demands are essential requirements of the role.
