They will work closely with their counterpart in Hereford and the Trust Lead Psychologist for Learning Disability Services to shape service development in line with national drivers and good practice.

They will provide clinical supervision and, potentially, line management to team members and empower them to share leadership responsibilities.

Working with the leads within the CLDT they will help to coordinate the provision of psychological interventions across the service and develop creative ways of working within the current national financial constraints.

Alongside this, the postholder will hold a suitable caseload of people with learning disabilities and a range of complex psychological needs.

There will be other aspects of the post that are based on the postholders individual development plan.

We are happy to discuss this in more detail.
