Join Our Team as a Health Care Assistant-Therapy ! We're looking for an enthusiastic Health care Assistant to join our friendly Older Adult Inpatient Mental Health Therapy Team. This is a rewarding role where under supervision of the physiotherapist youll support patients in improving mobility, strength, independence and wellbeing through a range of 1:1 and group interventions. You'll work closely with the physiotherapist and multidisciplinary team in a caring, supportive environment that values your development and input.

Please note the Trust will not routinely provide sponsorship to work for this role. In addition to meet Home Office salary threshold you must have the significant experience to be offered top of the pay band AND work a minimum of 35.5 hours per week.
This is a full time post.
Main duties of the job
This role as a health care assistant -Therapy will be working under the supervision of our Physiotherapist to deliver a range of movement and mobility programmes to enhance the independence and well-being of older adult with Mental Health Needs Accessing our 2 inpatient wards at Newhaven.
A typical day will involve working alongside therapists to assess patients movement and mobility needs and delivering prescribed exercise programmes. You will be expected to engage in delivering individual or group sessions.
You will enter observations and progress made in the patients electronic records and provide feedback to the wider MDT in patient reviews and case discussions.
