Job summary
You will be working as part of a team responsible for delivering pharmacy services to our community hospitals, mental health inpatient wards, mental health community teams and specialised clinical services across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. We provide a range of experience throughout our Trust to develop your potential in our skilled, innovative, and caring team. You will work with a diverse range of staff and patients, so must be able to work collaboratively to deliver the highest quality of care. It is vital that you can put patient care at the heart of your work to improve healthcare outcomes and service delivery. This is a developmental role with associated assessments and training expectations.
There are two posts available from 22.5 hours. Currently there are no weekend duties, bank holiday working or late nights. You may be expected to work some Saturday mornings in the future.

Main duties of the job
As a pharmacy assistant, you will be part of the team, working within stores (procurement) and the dispensary to deliver a comprehensive pharmacy and medicines management service to all sites within the Trust
You will regularly visit designated clinical areas to review stock holding and provide a stock top up service; dispense medication and deal with routine enquiries.
You will be required to work independently and as part of a team and must be able to travel throughout the Trust.
