Child Development Team has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, ambitious, and hardworking administrator to join our reception Team.

The position is based over two location, Warndon Child Development Centre and Scott Atkinson Centre which also has free staff parking available on site.

Main duties of the job

The Successful candidate will need to have significant proven experience working within a busy environment, demonstrate a flexible approach, with the ability to stay calm and work professionally during busy periods.

A typical days duties would vary from day to day. You would be the first point of call for parents attending clinics with their children.

You will also be responsible for booking out clinical rooms to other NHS services on a regular basis.

You also need to be willing to work with senior management to improve processes and support the implementation of change when needed.

Other duties will include telephone support to the department, general office duties i.e., typing, data inputting, appointment requests, co-ordination, and maintenance of filing systems.

  • Educated to academic Level 2 (e.g. GCSE Grade A-C, NVQ2, OCR/RSA2, City and Guilds 2) in a Business Administration-related subject Or Considerable recent NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 2 qualification on appointment to post
  • I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
