Job summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a friendly, enthusiastic, and patient-focused individual to join our teams.
Applicants are required to have excellent organisation and communication skills which are required to effectively liaise with a wide range of professionals and patients. This post will suit an individual with a proven track record of being able to use interpersonal skills to interact and communicate appropriately with a variety of patients from differing backgrounds and cultures, patients who have special needs, including physical and mental disabilities, learning difficulties and with patients who are anxious and/or upset. We are a supportive and passionate team and in return we will provide you with full training to ensure that you can succeed in this role.
You should have recent, relevant reception and administrative experience and knowledge of a range of office procedures including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) with intermediate IT skills that may be tested at interview.
This is a permanent post 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The usual working hours are 10am until 4pm. Reception based at Benet Building.

Main duties of the job
Key Receptionist/Administration duties specific to the role:
Meeting and greeting patients/visitors.
Dealing with face to face and telephone enquiries.
Processing room booking requests.
Using our in-house IT systems, RIO and IAPTus, for which full training will be provided.
Preparing, printing, and posting letters.
Supporting the admin teams with day-to-day duties as and when required.
