Office Assistant - Work Forward Placement

Job summary

THIS POST IS ONLY OPEN TO MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE USERS SUPPORTED THROUGH TRUST IPS Service

The opportunity has arisen for an Office Assistant to join the Employment Services Team and will be based at the Robertson Centre, Kidderminster, to aid the teams administrator.

You will assist in providing general administrative support to the Department, including assisting with photocopying, scanning and duties associated with supporting team members.

Knowledge of email and word processing are desirable and a confident professional telephone manner is essential, but you will have the opportunity to gain further training and improve your skills in the course of the placement.

You must currently be supported as a client of the trusts IPS service to be eligible to apply for a position under The Work Forward Scheme.

The post will commence with a 4 week unpaid work experience placement, after successful completion of which the post will be offered on a 6 months fixed term contract.

Please note the Trust will not provide sponsorship to work for this role, to apply you must have current right to work in the UK status.

Working days are to be discussed. We would be unable to offer work to you on a Wednesday but other working days are negotiable.

Main duties of the job

  • Managing the generic inbox
  • Producing and sending letters
  • Recording Monthly Compliments received by team members
  • Booking rooms/ setting up meetings
  • Helping to book training as needed
  • Assisting with Client Questionnaires and feedback
  • Helping Employment Specialists with general day to day enquiries
