Job summary
Were offering a dynamic leadership secondment for a full-time individual to join our SDU teamopen to individuals currently working across the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care System. This is a 6-month opportunity to step into a key operational role, leading both the HASE and MSK Teams. Youll be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the teams, including:
Line management of Band 7 Team Leads, Therapy Leads, a Band 4 PA
Budget oversight, service performance monitoring, and quality assurance
Driving continuous improvement and supporting the teams through ongoing transformation initiatives
In addition, the role includes active involvement in system-wide calls around patient flow, and taking the lead in escalating and resolving delays where necessary.
This secondment offers a valuable opportunity to gain strategic and operational leadership experience while making a meaningful difference to patient care and staff development.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with the Deputy Associate Director and fellow Integrated Community Service Leads as part of our Senior Management Team.
Accountable to the Deputy Associate Director you will support strategic leadership to clinical services operationally on a day-to-day basis and will be aligned with the following services: Neighbourhood Teams, MSK / APP Services, and our Housing, Adaptations and Equipment Services.
The post holder will be involved in an extremely exciting and challenging period of service development with the further roll out of the Ageing Well Agenda, enhanced models of frailty care and developing closer working and operational alignment with partner organisations. You will require energy and a commitment to quality improvement across this diverse portfolio.
