We have challenging, demanding yet highly rewarding opportunities to join our multidisciplinary inpatient team. We are seeking motivated individuals with a passion for older adult mental health and a commitment to support continually improving quality.

The service consists of two inpatient wards.

The team at Newhaven are friendly, supportive and exceptionally caring, putting patient care at the heart of the work we do to improve health care outcomes and service delivery.

We can offer up to 34.5 hours a week. Our working patterns are 3-4 long days/ night (07:30-20:00/19:30-08:00) across a four week period including weekends and bank holidays.

This is a part time post working 34.5 hours per week. However, we would consider less hours for the successful candidate but would have to be a minimum of 23 hours.

This post requires working rotational shifts.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification (e.g., A-level, NVQ3) in Care or Level 2 qualification (e.g., GCSE, NVQ2) in care and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 3 qualification on appointment to post
  • Will be expected to meet the Care Certificate standards within 12 weeks of commencing employment with the Trust
  • Management of Actual and Potential Aggression (MAPA) training
  • I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
