Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality psychiatric assessments, treatment, and interventions within the inpatient team
  • Work collaboratively with your colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Participate in team discussions, treatment planning, and risk assessments.
  • Engage with patients, carers, and families to provide holistic and person-centred care.
  • Contribute to service development initiatives and quality improvement within the team
  • Flexibility in providing cross cover to colleagues
  • Develop and maintain positive professional relationships.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree and relevant psychiatric qualifications.
  • Experience in mental health and psychiatric treatment.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and compassionate leadership.
