Admin Team Lead: Band 4, 37.5 hours per week (5 days per week).
Fixed Term Contract to 31st March 2026
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a supervisory admin role within the Children, Young People and Families (CYPF) service, initially for a fixed term period. The role is full time (37.5 hours per week), based at Covercroft Centre in Droitwich but travel to the Child Development Centres and Kidderminster Health Centre may be required from time to time.
If you are a highly organised and experienced administrator with leadership or transformation experience this could be an excellent opportunity to continue to develop your skills. We are looking for a professional, motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide leadership for an experienced group of Band2 & Band3 Administrators and Reception staff working in the Community Paediatrics team.
We will provide you with resources to support you in this fixed term role together with a wide range of wellbeing and benefits as part of an attractive employment package. You will receive line manager support and training to be able to deliver on Trust policies, acting as an advocate for the service.
Please note the Trust will not provide sponsorship to work for this role, to apply you must have current right to work in the UK status.
Main duties of the job
The team are experiencing high demand and the focus of this role will be to retain quality whilst improving efficiency and delivering excellent customer service. You will be expected to be a supportive and compassionate line manager. A keen interest in innovation, change and improvement would be beneficial to lead the staff group to review and transform processes.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail together with a broad knowledge base of IT systems used within the NHS and will be experienced in the use of all Microsoft Office products, with a high level of IT literacy to support the team in the use of digital options to their full potential.
