Job summary

This post is only open to current employees of the Trust.

An opportunity has arisen for a 12-month secondment as band 7 Team Lead (Nurse/ Occupational Therapist/ Physiotherapist) for the Post-Viral Fatigue service (newly formed from the integration of the ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Long Covid services). This is a full-time position, based at Malvern Community Hospital with the option of a hybrid arrangement to also work from home.

This is an exciting time to join this highly skilled and motivated team, with plenty of scope to grow professionally and personally, as well as contribute to the development of the service. You will be well supported in this role, with regular supervision, CPD and training as required.

Main duties of the job

The role will involve working with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a service. Typical duties will include day-to-day management of the team, as well as providing 1:1 and group interventions to patients with ME/CFS, LC and associated conditions. You will be working closely with the Service Lead to ensure a smooth transition to a post-viral fatigue service, taking a lead on agreed projects.

  • HCPC or NMC registration
  • Evidence of relevant post graduate courses / CPD maintained in portfolio

Desirable

  • Relevant validated clinical leadership course
  • Clinical educators qualification

Experience

  • Significant post graduate experience including work in a variety of specialities
