Job summary

We are looking for enthusiastic team players to come and join our nursing team. If you have an interest in elderly care and rehabilitation and want to work in a high functioning team to support patients and their families during the most challenging of times, this could be the post for you.

Tenbury Community Hospital is a rural inpatient setting of 22 beds that supports patients as a step down to receive ongoing medical treatment, rehabilitation, discharge planning or end of life care which no longer requires acute support but cannot be managed in the community

Main duties of the job

As a Staff Nurse you will be responsible for providing care to people admitted to our ward for rehabilitation.

Our focus is promoting the comfort and wellbeing of patients, enabling them to live as independently as possible. Tenbury is a small but friendly team to work with. As a team we encourage ongoing learning and development through reflection and clinical supervision which we try and embed in our daily practice.

Our nurses are required to facilitate the day to day running of the ward, administering medications, working alongside all members of the MDT as well as patients, their families and carers to provided 24/7 rehabilitation to enable the highest level of independence and quality of life.

Our nurses are required to attend meetings as needed such as MDT and CHC or Discharge Planning.
