We currently have a full-time permanent post for a Courier position based at the Princess of Wales Community Hospital, Stourbridge Road, Bromsgrove, B61 0BB. This is a 37.5-hour post over 5 days, Monday to Friday.

We have supportive and passionate teams, and you will receive full training to ensure you can succeed in this role.

Main duties of the job

Join our teams, we pride ourselves in providing outstanding care to patients across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. We will provide you with resources to develop and progress a long-term career to include flexibility, continual professional development as well as a wide range of wellbeing and support.

Working alongside clinical teams and infection control, Portering / Courier teams provide local and regional logistics to support the day to day running of hospital services across two counties. Duties will require you to work to schedules and procedures to ensure a smooth operation across multiple departments.

You will form part of a team providing comprehensive Portering / Courier services. Tasks will include transport and collection / delivery of mail, specimens, pharmacy etc., both on site and to other sites as required. When assigned to undertake courier duties a vehicle will be supplied and must be maintained to ensure it remains roadworthy and fit for use by others.

In return, you will receive full support, training, and guidance to enable you to fulfil the role and undertake these duties.
