Job summary

A part-time (26 hours per week) opportunity has arisen to work within the Integrated Safeguarding Team (IST).

This team of 20, is led by Claire King, Safeguarding Services Lead, supported by Administration Manager Abby Ware, and consists of administrators and Nurses. This administrator role supports the sharing of safeguarding information and provides a responsive and effective safeguarding service. You will need to be a team player with the ability to work independently both at Kings Court, Worcester and from home. Good home internet connection is essential. Working hours are Monday-Friday, with flexibility on start/end times within the core office hours of 8:3016:30. We pride ourselves in providing outstanding care to patients and supporting staff across the Trust and wider safeguarding partnerships/Boards.

Main duties of the job

Most tasks in this role are keyboard based. You will work under the direction of the Administration Manager. The main function will be to check details and upload information onto the electronic patient record system. In addition, you will input into databases, maintain filing systems, open and respond to emails. The successful candidate will be required to communicate and liaise with a range of internal and external agencies and maintain effective internal and external contacts. Information may be distressing, and the post requires a supportive and resilient individual with good concentration and understanding of confidentiality. You will have a positive attitude, be highly organised and have a flexible approach to your working day to meet tight and varying deadlines, you must be able to prioritise and organise your own workload and be able to work effectively and efficiently without direct supervision for most of your time.

  • Level 2 qualification (e.g. GCSE at Grade 4-9/A-C, NVQ2, OCR/RSA 2, City & Guilds 2) in a Business Administration-related subject OR
  • Level 2 qualification in an alternative subject and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 2 qualification on appointment to post OR
  • Considerable recent NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 2 qualification on appointment to post
  • I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
