We are seeking
a proactive and dedicated EDIE Lead to join the Herefordshire and
Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust for 18 months. In this pivotal role,
you will contribute to fostering an inclusive culture where all staff and
service users feel valued, respected, and empowered.
Hybrid working at Kings Court 2, Worcester, home and across Trust sites.
Virtual interviews are scheduled to take place week commencing 6th January 2025.
Main duties of the job
Main duties of the role:
- Support the implementation of the EDIE agenda, ensuring alignment with the NHS People Promise and national priorities.
- Lead projects, facilitate training, and monitor progress against EDIE objectives.
- Collaborate with staff networks, HR, and external organisations to enhance equity and inclusion.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing advice and championing best practices.
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate EDIE-related programmes and initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide
leadership and support for EDIE projects and services.
- Analyse workforce
data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate
and deliver training to all staff levels.
- Manage
staff networks, supervise team members, and oversee EDIE-related activities.
- Produce
and present mandatory reports, including those related to the Workforce Race
Equality Standard, Workforce disability Equality Standard for example.
