Job summary
An exciting opportunity has
arisen for a Band 3 Administrator to join a friendly Community Podiatry Team
covering parts of Worcestershire - Redditch, Droitwich, Evesham and Pershore.
This is a part time position,
22.5 hours per week, and some flexibility of work base Droitwich, Redditch or
Evesham.
The Podiatry department has a high-risk
clinical caseload, and it is important that the postholder can prioritise tasks,
and ensure urgent care is provided for patients when appropriate.
We are looking for a dynamic and
enthusiastic individual to provide reception cover and administration duties in
busy health centres across the locality.
It is essential you can fulfil
the travel requirements of the post, as you will be required to provide cover
across the locality.

Main duties of the job
You will be required to use a
range of administrative skills, including the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
Outlook, i proc, NHS supplies, and an electronic patient record system.
The post will involve patient contact,
over the telephone, and face to face, the post holder should have experience in
this field.
You will be involved in the
booking of appointments, in clinics, and at home, for new and existing
patients.
You will be processing new
referrals and develop skills to assess the urgency of these.
You will also supervise Band 2
administration staff and support your clinical colleagues.
The post holder will be expected
to attend and contribute to staff meetings and take minutes.
The post holder will support the
Team Lead with any administrative tasks, and have an overview of the department,
including waiting lists and clinic bookings.
