Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Group Programme
Lead position for the Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams in Wyre Forest and
Malvern, to support and develop community practitioners, whilst delivering
outstanding care to our community. This post will be offered to a Band 6
RMN/SW/OT/Psychologist on a fixed term basis (24 months) with the opportunity
to develop into a permanent Band 7 upon successful completion of the Level 5
Coaching Professional Apprenticeship course which will be provided.
The
Neighbourhood Mental Health Service (NMHS) are a busy, friendly and supportive
community based mental health service who offer a variety of therapeutic
interventions to the people of Worcestershire. The service ethos is recovery

Main duties of the job
The role
entails considerable variety no days are identical however a typical day
may involve:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive group
programme
- Leading on the facilitation of groups for
patients who would benefit from non-pharmacological interventions utilising evidenced based
models of intervention such as CBT, DBT SFT etc.
- Offer
specialist assessments and interventions to patients who present with complex
needs within the locality service who may also require 1:1 support, including
therapy-based interventions and offer alternative suggestions where group
content may not be appropriate.
- Attending
professional meetings, including ward reviews via Teams or in person to review
patients in your care
- Attending
MDT every Tuesday via Teams.
