Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Team Lead
to join our Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NHMHT). THE NHMHTs are at the forefront of providing
accessible care, integrating both Primary and secondary mental Health services,
in line with the NHS long term objectives.
There are five Neighbourhood teams across Herefordshire. The post advertised is to work within the
Ledbury Neighbourhood team at Rose Cottage.
We work closely with our Primary Care Networks, demonstrating good relationships and communication with our respective GP partners. The teams are supportive, with regular MDT meetings, individual/group supervisions and team away-days.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide leadership and
management across the Primary care network (PCN) based in the Ledbury. The post holder will work closely with the
Consultants to provide a united Leadership team.
The post holder will work collaboratively with internal and external organisations and key partners to meet the service needs of the patients, carers, clinicians and other practitioners within the PCN area.
The post holder will undertake all Human Recourse
tasks including, recruitment & retention, appraisal and supervision,
absence monitoring and review.

Job responsibilities
Work within available resources to ensure consistent safe
and timely service delivery including processing and allocation of referrals,
access to assessment and day-to-day coordination of activity.
Understand the role of performance management and quality
in relation to the work of the Team and the Trust, using professional judgement
to work with the team and in supervision to achieve outcomes in line with Trust
performance indicators.
Provide, in liaison with colleagues, a recovery orientated
comprehensive community mental health service to patients and their
relatives/carers who are referred to the service.
Plan and manage workloads of clinical staff within CMHT to
include the allocation of staffing resources, including duty rotas, planning
patient care and groups etc.
Maintain high standards of clinical care throughout the
service, ensuring that the values and principles of recovery are integral to
the care and support provided.
Provide Clinical /caseload management supervision to team
members.
Manage inspections and audit of the team if required.
Manage/respond to complaints/compliments regarding the team
from clients and relatives.
Be aware of Trust policies and how to access them. Know
specific policies relating to roles and spheres of responsibilities.
Authorised signatory for staff annual leave and study leave
as well as travel expenses for staff within the CMHT.
