Join us for a remarkable opportunity as a Senior Digital
Leader at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care Trust. We are
looking for an ambitious and influential leader that demonstrates the vision
and leadership qualities to support significant digital transformation and
innovation within the Trust.
The Trust in embarking on the implementation of a new
Electronic Patient Record (EPR) over the next 12 months, come and be a driving
force behind transformative digital endeavours, including the implementation of
game-changing initiatives like our Electronic Patient Record programme.
Longer term you will be responsible for supporting the
development and implementation of our Digital Strategy, which will involve
Digital Architecture, Solution Design & Application Development, and Digital
Systems Integration. This will involve in-depth planning and subject expertise
to deliver the Trust's next steps and identify digital solutions.
You will have the opportunity to work with senior
stakeholders both internally and externally of the Trust and will play an
integral role in the strategic development and delivery of various
technologies, including the Trust's Digital application architecture and
patient-facing applications. Additionally, you will contribute to the CARES
values of the Trust, promoting a culture based on compassion, improvement,
innovation, and understanding.
Main duties of the job
The Deputy Chief Information Officer will play a critical role in supporting the Director of Digital & Chief Information Officer in the full range of their responsibilities, including identifying opportunities to develop digital innovation across the Trust as well as the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care System.
Alongside these duties, you will provide leadership to teams within Digital Services, providing direction and expertise to staff, whilst building strong relationships to support the Trust's aims and Digital Strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing budgetary management, which includes securing internal funding, overseeing project budgets, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
In return, you could play a vital role as part of an upward journey in which there is both permission and support to be innovative to ensure that the Trust achieve their exciting digital objectives.
